COVID-19 Protocols
To promote wellness and safety we follow protocols to ensure a healthy environment for our staff and patients.
Sanitizing
Patients, technicians and physicians are required to wash their hands before and after an exam. If a patient would like to wear gloves brought from home, we ask that a new pair of gloves be worn upon entering the office to avoid any outside contaminants.
Staff will sanitize every staff and patient contact area before and after each patient. This includes, but is not limited to: applicable chairs, door handles, pens, clipboards, desk surfaces, faucet handles, eyeglass frames, credit card scanners, screening tools, and exam testing equipment.
To avoid contamination of other items, any item touched by a patient should be immediately given to a staff member for sanitization when finished with use.
Masks
We ask that you come to your appointment wearing a mask. All staff and patients 2 years of age and older will be required to wear masks in the office to reduce droplet emission in the office.
We will maintain mask wear in the office until all age groups have the opportunity to be vaccinated. As healthcare providers we want to protect all of our patients and their families so we ask you to mask while in the office to protect those that are unable to be vaccinated at this time.
Social Distancing
Upon arrival at the office you may enter and check in with the front and wait in the waiting room for your appointment. If you would rather wait in your car, please call or text us from your vehicle at 360 293-2127.
Please remember to remain masked while in the building.
If possible please use our patient portal to update your information prior to your appointment.
We are still trying to limit the number of people in the office to make social distancing more achievable. Please limit additional people to a single accompanying parent or guardian for minors or a necessary caregiver. Our attention is solely for you.
Whenever possible patients and staff will try to keep a distance of 6 feet between one another.
Screening
Our office is dedicated to screening both our staff and patients for COVID-19 related risk factors to maximize health and safety in our service to you. If any of the following apply to staff or patient, they will be asked to reschedule their time at the office to a later date:
Had known exposure to COVID-19 or come into contact with an individual who has COVID-19 in the past 14 days
Has a fever, coughing, shortness of breath or other COVID-19 related symptoms
If you are unsure if any of the above apply to you, or you are unsure on how to proceed, our staff will be happy to provide you with recommended next steps, timetables for rescheduling, and resources.
